The Military & Veterans Committee will work to promote collegiality among attorneys who are serving or who have served in all branches of military and to encourage public awareness of veterans issues. The committee will be responsible for planning and providing networking and CLE opportunities by and for members of the association who are current military service members or veterans. The committee will also assist HVL by encouraging committee members to support and participate in HVL’s pro bono services and community efforts. All pro bono services volunteered will support our Veterans Legal Initiative, which provides free legal advice and legal representation to U.S. veterans and spouses of deceased veterans. Along with individual committee work and efforts, HBA Military & Veterans Committee also partners with HYLA’s Military & Veterans Committee on all of their activities.
2024-2025 Co-Chairs:

Christian Ryholt, Farner & Perrin, L.L.P.
