HBA Fall Day of Service - Thank You!
THANK YOU to all of the HBA members, committee members, partnership organizations, and volunteers for your outstanding service to make the HBA Days of Service a remarkable success! Thanks to the incredible support of nearly 300 volunteers and our partner organizations, the HBA served 14,000+ community members in 2 days!
HBA President Daniella Landers joined volunteers to help install a State Historical Commission marker from the at the Dawson Lunnon Cemetery in Houston’s East End. Volunteers also participated in beautification efforts to preserve this 1915 African American cemetery, including removing debris, landscaping, and reconstructing pathways.

Lawyers for a Beautiful Houston Trash Bash, March 29
On March 29, the HBA Lawyers for a Beautiful Houston Committee came together at Kuhlman Gully to participate in Trash Bash®—Texas’ largest single-day waterway clean-up, dedicated to supporting a healthier Galveston Bay Watershed. Nearly 30 volunteers joined forces to collect multiple bags of trash and help keep Houston beautiful! A heartfelt thank you to all who volunteered to make a difference!
