5th Annual Mardi Gras Party
Thank you to everyone who joined us on February 25 for the 5th Annual Mardi Gras Party! From the festive beads and great music to the incredible energy and even better company, the night was filled with connection, celebration, and true Mardi Gras spirit.

On October 28, members and guests embraced the Halloween spirit at the HBA LGBTQ+ Committee's 5th Annual Halloween Party with Icons of the Afterlife. HBA Fall Day of Service - Thank You!
THANK YOU to all of the HBA members, committee members, partnership organizations, and volunteers for your outstanding service to make the HBA Days of Service a remarkable success! Thanks to the incredible support of nearly 300 volunteers and our partner organizations, the HBA served 14,000+ community members in 2 days!
The HBA LGBTQ+ Committee and HBA AIDS Outreach Committee invited attorney volunteers to participate in a community outreach event dedicated to providing legal information and resources to the LGBTQ+ community in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment. Volunteers had the opportunity to share their legal knowledge, answer general questions, and help connect attendees with essential services and support. This was a meaningful way to promote access to justice, foster trust, and empower individuals in our community.

LGBTQ+ Committee Scholarships
The LGBTQ+ Committee awarded four $2,000 scholarships in its name to students at the Out for Education Scholarship Ceremony on May 5, 2025. Presenting the scholarships was Chase Jones and Bonnie Simmons on behalf of the committee.
